CITIASSIST GRADUATE LOANS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN MISSOURI

Eligible international graduate students may apply for a CitiAssist Graduate Loan. The loan provides financial assistance up to the cost of attendance, minus any financial aid, to approved schools in the US. The loan may be used to cover a range of expenses associated with pursuing study in the US, including tuition, room and board, transportation, and other living expenses.
To qualify, students must be enrolled in a graduate program at least part-time at an accredited and approved college or university in the US and be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi and Puerto Rico) to be eligible for the CitiAssist Loan. Students in law school must be in at least the third year.
Students can borrow up to the total cost of education less any other financial aid received. The student's school will be asked to certify or verify the amount for which the student is eligible. There is a one-time minimum loan amount of $1,000, with no minimum loan amount required on subsequent loans. Graduates have up to 20 years to repay their CitiAssist Loans plus any periods of deferment or forbearance.
CitiAssit Loans for Law Students
Eligible international graduate law students may apply for a CitiAssist Law Loan. The loan provides financial assistance up to the cost of attendance, minus any financial aid, to approved schools in the US. The loan may be used to cover a range of expenses associated with pursuing study in the US, including tuition, room and board, transportation, and other living expenses.
To qualify, students must be enrolled in a graduate law program at least part-time at an accredited and approved college or university in the U.S. and be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi and Puerto Rico) to be eligible for the CitiAssist Law Loan.
The standard repayment period begins immediately following the final disbursement of the loan. Graduates have up to 20 years to repay their CitiAssist Law Loans plus any periods of deferment or forbearance.
CitiAssist Health Profession Loans
The CitiAssist Health Professions Loan is available to eligible international graduate students with a US co-signer for students studying allopathy, osteopathy, dentistry, optometry, podiatry, pharmacy and veterinary medicine. Graduates have up to 25 years, with a 9-month grace period, to repay the loan, with an automatic in-school deferment on loan payments while in school for up to 4 years and for an additional 5 years while in residency.
